In 1987, a group of dedicated pool players in Louisville, Kentucky formed a small company based on a simple but unique idea creating a table that would so surpass all others in quality and craftsmanship that it would become the standard for national and international tournament play. Achieving that goal had three strategic elements: (1) using the table in major tournament events, (2) seeking comments and advice from experienced, top professionals about the table’s ‘playability’, and, (3) heeding those comments by adding features and making refinements that improved its performance. For example, various specifications which determine the degree of difficulty or ‘tightness’ of the pockets, such as the ‘cut angle’ and pocket size, were continuously changed to find just the ‘right’ configuration. Other features were refined in the same way.

Since its inception, the DIAMOND PROFESSIONAL has been through over 100 major tournaments and many changes and refinements. Because the DIAMOND was truly designed by players for players and not by manufacturers, it contains design features found in no other table in existence, features which make each DIAMOND the standard of the industry for tournament play, for commercial pool rooms and for the home.

Every facet of the DIAMOND is manufactured to exacting standards. Carefully sculptured from solid hardwoods, each table is pre-assembled at the factory by hand and tested to assure that strict specifications are met. These rigid specifications and the large amount of hand craftsmanship mean that the DIAMOND will never be a mass production unit. It will be produced only at a volume that assures the very highest quality for each unit.

DIAMOND craftsmanship and philosophy encompasses each element of any single game of billiards, including the lighting, the balls, the cloth and even how comfortably the players sit between runs on the table.

As befits a DIAMOND, the understated elegance of the wood matched Diamond table lighting fixtures is uniquely simple; a light designed to uniformly illuminate the entire playing surface thus eliminating all shadow and contributing to our DIAMOND luster. The light focuses attention on the entire playing area without drawing attention to itself.

Starting with Valley billiards in 1945, right in Bay City, MI  the company has since expanded to include Champion Shuffleboard, Connelly Billiards, Dynamo air hockey, Tornado foosball, and Sun-Glo shuffleboard accessories. Throughout its rich history the company has also produced crane games, arcade games, Jet-Pong, and pinball - with many more games on the way. Every game offered by Valley-Dynamo is manufactured from start to finish in the United States.

The CL Bailey Co. was founded in 1999 in Marionville, Missouri by the father and son team, Charlie & Chuck Bailey. The very first table we engineered and built was the Addison Pool Table. As the company grew, we expanded our capacity with furniture finishing solid wood pool tables. A few years later, we established a separate company called The Level Best, to import and distribute billiard pool table accessory kits and game room furniture to their dealers across the country. Over the years, other seasoned veterans from the billiard industry joined the company and brought insight and experience to the team. Charlie and Chuck Bailey later retired, from the business, in 2012. Over the past two decades, the core team continues to improve on their unique skills and bring the best customer service and the best value of quality products to our customers. Linda Brownlee, our Office Manager joined the company in 2000. She oversees human resources, accounts payables, and accounts receivables. With her background in office management, she has been an integral part of our team. Steve Hatcher, our Warehouse Manager, got his start in the shipping department in 2001. Over the years he helped developed and established the inventory control system of all the products in our 60,000 square foot warehouse. He oversees regular product inspections to ensure the items our customers receive are in their optimum condition. Shine Lee, our General Manager, is in charge of daily operations and supply chain management. He has worked with most of our overseas suppliers for almost two decades and continues to collaborate with them by making multiple overseas trips annually to ensure that we get the highest quality of products for our customers. Dave DeVol, our Marketing Manager, joined the company in 2002 to head up our Creative Services Department. He has been instrumental in promoting our brands and products through a variety of media formats in traditional printing and digital output for the web. Now equipped with a full-size photography studio, he has the means to photograph new products when they arrive the warehouse and have images ready for catalog printing and upload to our website within hours. Kim Young, our Customer Service Manager, is the voice of our company. Every one of our customers know her because she is always here to assist them. Over the years, she has collected a wide range of product knowledge that enables her to help our customers on many levels. She is also in charge of the logistics of all inbound and outbound shipments. Scott Hickman is our Chief Financial Officer. With an extensive background in accounting, he helped us upgrade from a basic accounting software to an Enterprise Resource Planning system to manage our business functions that includes manufacturing, order processing, financial accounting, and inventory management. He has been helping us set long term strategic goals and give us the tools to get there. Mike Leon, our National Sales Director has been working in the billiards industry for many decades from delivering and installing pool tables for his family’s billiard retail store to becoming the top salesperson for many national billiard wholesale distributors. Mike brings a great deal of experience and valuable billiard knowledge to the team.
